At JDA Coaching, our team of football coaches is comprised of highly skilled and passionate professionals, each dedicated to fostering player development and excellence. With a wealth of experience at various levels of the game, our coaches bring both UEFA and FA qualifications to the table, ensuring that every session is delivered with the highest standard of expertise. They are not only proficient in the technical and tactical aspects of football but are also committed to nurturing confidence, resilience, and a positive mindset in every player. Our coaches work collaboratively to create a supportive, challenging, and enjoyable environment, helping players reach their full potential both on and off the field.

Jamie Aquilina

Founder/Head Coach

Football has been a passion of Jamie's for as long as he can remember! Having started playing football at 18 months, he quickly knew the game was for him. After 12 years of playing football, Jamie turned his hand to coaching in 2021 and has already established himself as an accomplished coach in the area. Initially responsible for grassroots development, he quickly progressed to academy, taking teams to play against professional academies, including Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Bournemouth, Southampton, Watford and Fulham. Having gained his FA Level 1 Coaching License in 2021, Jamie has now completed his UEFA C Licence.

Rian Bartley

Cover Coach

Rian joined the footballing world much later than most, joining his first team at the age of 10! He quickly realised it was the sport for him and has since been apart of multiple clubs, playing matches against pro academies, including Fulham and Chelsea.

In 2022, Rian decided to complete his FA Level 1 Coaching License, as he began to pass on his knowledge and skills to younger players. Rian has since been coaching for many clubs, working alongside Head Coach, Jamie, at a number of them!

Rian has experience in a range of different session types, including 1-2-1, 2-2-1, Small and Large group training sessions.

Molly Ufton

Technical Centre & ASC Lead Coach

Molly has been passionate about sport from a young age, and football quickly became her true calling. Starting at 7 years old, she knew it was the sport for her, and by 16, she earned her FA Level 1 Coaching qualification. Since then, Molly has coached both boys and girls, from grassroots to academy levels, helping players of all abilities develop their skills.

In addition to her coaching experience, Molly is a certified personal trainer with a degree in sports science, allowing her to combine technical coaching with a strong focus on fitness and conditioning. Molly’s dedication to coaching and passion for the game make her a committed and knowledgeable mentor for players at every stage of their football journey.

Ralph Palmer-Andrews

Goalkeeper Coach

Ralph has played for a number of clubs over the past 12 years, including professional academies such as QPR, Southampton and many more, before beginning his men's career in 2023. In 2021, Ralph decided to complete his FA Level 1 Coaching License, to further his understanding of the game, allowing him to pass on his knowledge and experience to the next generation of Goalkeepers!

He specialises in delivering 1-2-1 and 2-2-1 and small group goalkeeping sessions, targeting players' weaknesses and mastering their strengths.

Ralph also has a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development.

Robbie Aquilina

Academy & Technical Centre Assistant Coach

Robbie’s football journey started early, with a love for the game sparked at just two years old. He joined his local grassroots team at six and has been part of the club ever since, growing through the ranks as both a player and a coach. At 16, he earned his FA Level 1 Coaching Qualification in 2024, and has since coached across grassroots and academy levels — including matches against top academies like Fulham and Brighton. Robbie also supports after-school clubs and holiday camps, sharing his passion and knowledge with the next generation of players.
