JDA Academy is a structured, team-based programme for players aged U7 to U10 who are ready to train and compete at a higher level. Squads train and play together all season – a genuine team environment, not a training group.
Every session is coached to the same standard, developing players technically, tactically, physically and mentally in an environment built to challenge them.

Every squad shares the same JDA Academy structure, coaching philosophy and pathway. Placement isn't fixed – players move between squads as they develop, reflecting readiness rather than rank.

Academy training is never isolated drills. Every session is built to transfer – technical detail, decision-making and game understanding a player can actually use once the whistle goes.

The first of many journeys
Will developed within the JDA Academy before earning the opportunity to continue his journey with Reading FC.
His progression is something we are incredibly proud of, but it also represents exactly what the Academy is designed to create: an environment where talented young players are challenged, supported and given every opportunity to take their next step.
Other JDA Academy players are currently being given trial opportunities with professional clubs – further evidence that the standard of coaching and competition at JDA genuinely gets noticed.
