This new collaboration marks another exciting step in our continued growth and commitment to providing our players with the very best coaching and development opportunities.

SafeHands GKA are a specialist goalkeeper academy with a proven track record in developing young goalkeepers across all levels of the game. Their team of experienced, professional coaches focus exclusively on the technical, tactical, and psychological demands of modern goalkeeping. By partnering with SafeHands, JDA is able to offer a comprehensive programme that supports goalkeepers of all ages and abilities in a professional, structured environment.

The JDA x SafeHands Goalkeeper Academy is designed to enhance every aspect of a goalkeeper’s game, including handling, positioning, distribution, footwork, communication, and game understanding. Sessions also place strong emphasis on confidence, focus, and decision-making - essential qualities for success both on and off the pitch.

Our goalkeeper sessions are delivered at first-class facilities at our new training ground Royal Holloway Sports Centre and follow the same high standards that define the wider JDA programme. Running on Monday evenings from 5:30-6:30, this partnership further strengthens our commitment to creating the best possible environment for young players to develop, perform, and enjoy their football journey.

 

The programme is open to both existing JDA players and external goalkeepers who are eager to take their game to the next level. Whether new to the position or already playing at a competitive standard, each participant will benefit from tailored, age-appropriate coaching delivered by specialists who understand the unique demands of goalkeeping.
