JDA Coaching was founded with a clear vision - to take players on a journey from Grassroots 2 Greatness. After years of experience in both grassroots and academy football, we recognised a need for an environment that combines the joy of grassroots football with the structure, quality, and opportunities of the academy game. JDA was created to bridge that gap - offering pathways for every type of player, whether they are taking their very first steps in football or competing at Junior Premier League level.
Our sessions are built to be fun, engaging, and challenging, with every detail carefully planned to help players improve while enjoying the game. Using a mix of ball mastery, skill challenges, small-sided games, and match-based scenarios, we ensure players learn in an exciting, game-like environment where they are always involved and always improving. While our Academy teams are driven by the philosophy of Intensity, Discipline, Excellence, the wider JDA Coaching ethos remains focused on giving all players the tools, confidence, and guidance they need to unlock their potential. Technical Centre
The JDA Technical Centre is designed to give players the extra edge in their development by focusing on the individual skills that make a real difference on the pitch. Unlike a team training environment, our Technical Centre places each player at the heart of their own development, with sessions built around high ball-contact, repetition, and game-related challenges that accelerate improvement.

At the Technical Centre, players work on ball mastery, dribbling, passing and receiving, 1v1s, shooting, decision-making, and movement off the ball in a structured yet enjoyable environment. By refining these core techniques, players become more confident and effective in matches, able to express themselves and make better choices under pressure.

The benefits go beyond technical skills - our sessions also build speed of thought, resilience, and creativity, encouraging players to try new things without fear of mistakes. With expert coaching, carefully planned progressions, and a focus on enjoyment, the Technical Centre ensures that every player leaves with sharper skills, improved confidence, and a deeper understanding of the game.
JDA Academy
The JDA Academy provides a professional, structured pathway for talented young players to challenge themselves at the highest grassroots level. Our Academy teams compete in the Junior Premier League (JPL), giving players the chance to test their ability against some of the best sides in the country. Alongside league competition, our teams also enjoy fixtures against professional academies such as Fulham, Southampton, Brentford, QPR, Chelsea, and many more, offering an exciting and inspiring experience for every player.

At the Academy, training sessions are built around our philosophy of Intensity, Discipline, Excellence. Players are encouraged to work hard, stay focused, and push their limits, while also enjoying the game and building lasting friendships. With experienced coaches who know the JPL inside out, our Academy ensures that players receive the technical, tactical, physical, and mental development needed to progress in football.

JDA
Next Gen's
Next Gens is JDA Coaching’s progressive programme for our youngest players of all abilities, split into two distinct pathways to meet the needs of every child.
The first pathway is designed for players taking their first steps in football, providing a supportive and fun environment where they can develop core technical skills, coordination, movement, teamwork, and an understanding of the game. Sessions are structured to keep players engaged, boost confidence, and instil a lifelong love for football from an early age.

The second pathway caters to more advanced players who are ready to take the next step in their development. These players focus on enhanced technical drills, tactical awareness, decision-making, and game-intelligence, preparing them for potential selection into our Junior Premier League Academy teams next season. By combining skill development with game-like scenarios and small-sided matches, this pathway ensures players are challenged, motivated, and equipped to compete at a higher level.

Across both pathways, Next Gens emphasises positive coaching, individual attention, and enjoyable learning experiences, allowing every child to progress at their own pace while being inspired to reach their full potential. It’s the perfect programme for children who are either just starting their football journey or aspiring to step up into competitive academy football.
JDA x safehands gk Academy
SafeHands GKA are a specialist goalkeeper academy with a proven track record in developing young goalkeepers across all levels of the game. Their team of experienced, professional coaches focus exclusively on the technical, tactical, and psychological demands of modern goalkeeping. By partnering with SafeHands, JDA is able to offer a comprehensive programme that supports goalkeepers of all ages and abilities in a professional, structured environment.

The JDA x SafeHands Goalkeeper Academy is designed to enhance every aspect of a goalkeeper’s game, including handling, positioning, distribution, footwork, communication, and game understanding. Sessions also place strong emphasis on confidence, focus, and decision-making - essential qualities for success both on and off the pitch.​
The programme is open to both existing JDA players and external goalkeepers who are eager to take their game to the next level. Whether new to the position or already playing at a competitive standard, each participant will benefit from tailored, age-appropriate coaching delivered by specialists who understand the unique demands of goalkeeping.
