Inside JDA: August 2026

Our Summer Holiday Camps returned during August, bringing players together for two brilliant weeks of football during the school holidays.

Across both weeks, players enjoyed training, challenges, competitions and plenty of tournament football, with a fantastic group of young players joining us throughout the summer.

Our camps continue to be a brilliant opportunity for players to spend more time on the pitch, develop their game and, most importantly, enjoy their football during the school holidays.

Our October Half-Term Camps are now live, with places available across both weeks of the school holidays.

Our U9 Teals enjoyed a special reward for their Gunnersbury Cup success as players and families headed to the Gtech Community Stadium to watch Brentford take on Eintracht Frankfurt.

The experience had been earned earlier in the summer when the team battled through the Brentford Gunnersbury Cup before lifting the trophy following a penalty shootout victory in the final.

Families met before the match before heading into the stadium together to watch Brentford produce an incredible 7–0 victory.

Another fantastic experience for the team and a brilliant way to celebrate what they had achieved together.

August also brought some exciting developments away from the pitch as we announced our partners for the 2026/27 season.

We were delighted to expand our relationship with Surrey Scaffolding, who became an official JDA Club Partner after previously sponsoring two of our Academy teams.

Their support has now expanded across JDA, with Surrey Scaffolding featuring across our Academy, JDA Coaching, Girls and coaches' kits, alongside wider club materials throughout the season.

We also welcomed back Lumio Media as our Photography/Media Partner for 2026/27, helping us capture the moments and experiences our players enjoy throughout the year.

Our Girls Development Centre also welcomed AM Swim School as a new sponsor, supporting the continued development and growth of our girls' programme.

We're extremely grateful to have businesses choosing to support what we're building at JDA and play a part in the next stage of our journey.

August also marked the return of our Academy as preparations officially began for the 2026/27 season.

Players and coaches returned to the pitch for our first sessions back, beginning another exciting year of development, matches, tournaments and experiences across JDA.

With new teams, new players and plenty planned for the season ahead, it was brilliant to have everyone back together and working again.

We rounded off a busy August with another fantastic opportunity as our U9s competed at the Soccer Elite Tours Pro Cup.

The tournament provided the chance to test ourselves against professional academy opposition, with JDA facing teams including Norwich City, Portsmouth, Fulham and Luton Town.

Our players competed brilliantly throughout the tournament and embraced the opportunity to challenge themselves against some excellent opposition.

Giving our players opportunities to step into these environments, experience different levels of football and test themselves against professional academies remains an important part of their development at JDA.

August gave us plenty to celebrate, but it also represented the beginning of what promises to be an incredibly exciting 2026/27 season.

With competitive fixtures beginning, more opportunities ahead and programmes across JDA continuing to grow, we're looking forward to seeing what September brings.
