MORE DETAIL. MORE REPS. MORE PROGRESS.
1-to-1 Coaching is built around one player's specific development goals - individual technical detail, direct feedback and focused repetition.
One player. Every rep.
In a team session, coaching has to serve the group – the same drill, the same pace, the same attention shared between everyone. In a 1-to-1, every rep, correction and challenge is built around one player's game.
It's completely individualised: high-intensity work targeted at a player's real strengths and weaknesses, whatever their current level – designed to sit alongside their team or Academy football, not replace it.
More Ball Contact
Far more meaningful repetitions than are naturally possible in a team environment.
Individual Detail
Coaching points, feedback and interventions based entirely around that player's technique and decision-making.
Target Specific Areas
Sessions can focus on exactly what the player needs rather than following a group syllabus.
Build Confidence
Give players the time and repetition to become comfortable in areas of their game they may currently avoid.
Accelerate Development
Individual attention allows details to be identified, coached and revisited throughout the session.
Not just an hour of random drills.
Every session is designed around what the player actually needs – one specific priority, or a combination of areas, built from JDA's own coaching philosophy.
First Touch, Ball Manipulation, Weak-Foot Development, Confidence On The Ball
1v1 Attacking, 1v1 Defending, Turning & Escaping Pressure, Finishing
Passing & Receiving, Movement & Body Position, Decision-Making, Position-Specific Detail

More time on the ball.
With one player and one coach, there's no standing in line and no waiting for a turn. A repetition happens, feedback is immediate, an adjustment is made, and the next repetition follows straight away.
That's not about running a player into the ground – it's quality repetitions over meaningless volume, every minute genuinely spent developing.
Built around what they need, every time.
Before every session, the coach identifies with the player and parent what to work on – then builds the session around it.
Understand the player's priorities and areas for development.
Break down the relevant technical detail.
Increase pressure, speed and difficulty as the player progresses.
Move the skill towards realistic football situations.
Book one session, or build a block.
Single Session
- A targeted piece of work on one specific area
- A low-commitment way to try 1-to-1 coaching
- Useful preparation for a particular football challenge
Coaching Block
- Repeated sessions for greater continuity
- Previous work is revisited and built upon
- Better suited to sustained, longer-term development
- A discounted rate per session compared to booking individually
During suitable conditions, sessions can take place across appropriate local training locations. During winter, access to 3G facilities means development doesn't have to stop when grass pitches become unsuitable.
Let's build the right session.
1-to-1 Coaching is arranged around each player, so it isn't something you can book instantly online. Tell us whether you're after a single session or an ongoing block, what you'd like to work on, and your general availability – a member of the JDA team will be in touch to arrange next steps.
Sessions are delivered by JDA coaches, matched to the player, their development focus and coach/location availability.
