U8 Teals Crowned JPL Champions After Unbeaten Run
An Unbeaten Run to Remember
Our U8 Teals enjoyed an incredible first half of the season in the Junior Premier League, going unbeaten all the way through to Christmas and being crowned JPL champions at Slough.
The team produced outstanding performances week after week, playing some brilliant football and showing the confidence, quality and togetherness that made this group so special.
Finishing the competition unbeaten was a fantastic achievement and earned the boys the opportunity to represent JDA at the next stage of the competition.
Taking on the Regional Finals
Following their success at Slough, the U8 Teals progressed to the JPL Regional Finals, where they had the opportunity to test themselves against some of the strongest teams from across the competition.
Their journey eventually came to an end against the side that would go on to become national champions, but it took nothing away from what had been an unbelievable run from the group.
From going unbeaten and becoming champions at Slough to competing at regional level, it was another huge experience for the players and a brilliant milestone in their development.
A Special JDA Team
The success was a reflection of the hard work the players had put into their football and the standards they continued to set every week.
We're incredibly proud of what the group achieved and, most importantly, the progress each player continued to make throughout the season.
JPL Champions. Unbeaten to Christmas. An incredible achievement from our U8 Teals. 🏆
